iLearn Centers' Teachers
Our teachers in iLearn are highly skilled in their specified subject areas. They all hold a minimum of a bachelor’s and maximum of one to two master’s degrees. Being highly effective, they receive monthly professional development training on the newest teaching strategies for online teaching. A few of the many skills they hold include communication, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy and patience. Other characteristics they hold include an engaging classroom presence, value in real-world learning, exchange of best practices and a lifelong love of learning. Our teachers speak fluently English and Arabic and are evaluated monthly to help improve their instruction and maintain highest teaching standards.
iLearn Centers' Curriculum
Oral English Support
iLearns Oral English support program is designed to help students, including adults to learn to speak English. There are six-level courses made up of the following levels: starter, elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate, upper-intermediate, and advanced. These different level courses all focus on being able to read, discuss, speak with proper pronunciation, and even write (at some levels), applying vocabulary skills. Both American and British accent instructors are available for student preference. Great course to prepare for the outside read world, including careers, traveling, interviews, and social media communication.
Academics
iLearn uses the Study Island K-12 program (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies) as well as SAT, ACT, IELTS, GED, Oral English-Speaking course, Adult Developmental Courses (Math and English) to teach and meet the needs of every learner. While working to help students attain appropriate and equivalent reading for their grade level, we are using the Reading Eggs and Reading Eggspress program to help students with reading comprehension, accuracy, fluency, vocabulary, and spelling. English teacher are trained “Reading Intervention Coaches” that help students reach their appropriate grade level in reading. These programs are great engaging ways to help students learn, meet their goals, while have a great and fun time playing along the way with the great features these programs offer.
SAT, ACT, GED, IELTS
iLearn’s goal is to help students, particularly young adults, to successfully make their way into the College classroom. With SAT and ACT preparation along with test-taking strategy courses, students have the opportunity not only to prepare for the tests, but to also take the practice tests at the end of the course. Students and adults who would like the opportunity to prepare for their GED test have the opportunity to all the GED subjects with experienced instructions and have the opportunity to also take the full-length practice tests. International foreign students also have the opportunity to practice for the IELTS exam, which is designed to help students at the international level to work, study, or migrate to a country where English is the native language needed for work and school. The focused countries for this course are: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, and America. Students will develop the ability and be assessed on how they read, write, listen, and speak in English.
Islamic
iLearn uses a curriculum named, Tarbiyah that applies to ages K-12, integrating the Islamics and Quran programs to nurture the piety in our children. This program involves lessons, activities, quizzes, as well as report cards, giving parents an inside view and results. The Islamic program integrates its lessons so that each lesson includes: Aqida, Fiqh, Tareekh, Seerah, and Qur’an. This program is used in over 80 schools, 70 countries worldwide, giving it the title to be the best Global Islamic curriculum out there.
Qur’an
In addition to the integrated Islamic curriculum that includes Qur’an, iLearn uses an exclusive Qur’an program named, Qfatima. It is designed to help students learn Qur’an in an innovative, understandable, and interactive way that includes lessons and fun activities. In addition, our Hafth (Qur’an memorization) program is customized and designed to meet the goals for each student, at a 1-to-1 level.
Arabic
iLearn’s Arabic program centralizes on the use of the Alefbata Arabic learning program along with the 2022 number #1 Arabic program, K-12, “Al-Lugha Al-Arabiya”. It uses joyful and fun interactive lessons. Students can begin learning Arabic without any previous knowledge and can excel to reach their age-appropriate Arabic level. This program involves: games, site words, exercises, stories, texts, and pintables. At the same time, teachers, parents, and students can track performance using student data.
